Craig Beattie is a senior analyst with Celent’s Insurance practice, and based in the firm's London office. He brings extensive experience in the use of enterprise architecture and applications architecture practices in the insurance industry, working with and within insurers. Craig has advised insurers on IT strategy, legacy modernization, insurance vendor analysis and enterprise architecture topics, principally in the EMEA region. Since joining Celent, he has been a speaker at industry events in North America and London, as well as Celent events in Europe. He has spoken on topics such as the influence of mobile on the industry, the use of social networks by insurers and how the evolving use of the Internet, data and IoT will influence insurance in the future. Recent consulting clients have engaged Craig for policy administration vendor analyses, market entry strategies, and product messaging work for insurance vendors. Prior to joining Celent, Craig was an applications architect with Royal Bank of Scotland Group's Strategy and Architecture team, working extensively with RBS Insurance.

Kathy Sullivan is an international executive at IBM, delivering leading-edge technology solutions to the financial services industry. Kathy joined IBM in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989 serving the insurance and mutual fund industry. In 1997, she joined IBM in Vienna, Austria to provide business solutions expertise to the insurance and banking industry in the emerging markets of Eastern and Central Europe. She then became the Financial Services Sector leader in Prague, Czech Republic before she moved to London in 2002. In London, Kathy has held global and local roles, always at the service of financial services clients. In January 2012, she was named Managing Director in IBM Nordics. In July of this year, she returned to London and is now Vice President and head of IBM’s Insurance Industry unit. Kathy has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, and also holds the ACT certificate in International Cash Management and accreditation from the Harvard Negotiation Project.

Dr. Iain Brown is a Lead Data Scientist at SAS working across the Financial Services sector, specialising in Credit Risk, AI and Machine Learning. Prior to joining SAS, Iain worked for one of the largest UK retail banks in the Decision Sciences department.

He has spoken at a number of internationally renowned conferences and conventions and has papers published in the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Forecasting and the Journal of Expert Systems with Applications. He is also the author of Developing Credit Risk Models Using SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS/STAT: Theory and Applications, a comprehensive guide to the use of SAS for credit risk model development.

Iain has a PhD in Risk from the University of Southampton as well as an MSc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Iain is a member of the Operational Research Society and since July 2014 was awarded the title of Associate Fellow of the OR Society (AFORS).

Iain started his career at leading medical insurer MPS, developing their first online presence. He has worked for the Government Digital Service and ran Erskine Design, where he oversaw work with the BBC on the the Global Experience Language (GEL) and expanded the agency into the US.

He spent four years heading up digital transformation programme at Zurich Personal Lines, part of the Zurich Insurance Group, leading the renewal of the company's customer facing services and transition to omni-channel servicing. Iain then became CEO at InMyBag, an Insurtech startup being incubated by investment and VC firm, Hambro Perks, famous for launching brands as diverse as Sipsmith and Laundrapp. He now works as a freelance consultant.

Iain is a member of the Insurance Post's Digital Collective, a group of influential advocates from across the industry.

In Peter’s last role as Head of Wemo, the IoT brand from Belkin, he led the launch of 11 products into global retail reaching over one million homes. Prior to this, Peter was GM of a smart sensor business with technology in over eleven million smart meters in America.
