Dr. Bliznakov has 21 years of experience in various roles in the enterprise software industry. Currently, he is a Sr. Director, Extended IoT Solutions at EPAM. In that role he is working with clients and the EPAM internal organization to identify potential benefits and value from implementing IoT solutions, and ensure delivery of world-class solutions and services. He also is leading the development of partnerships in the area and ensures the professional growth of the internal competency team.

Prior to EPAM, Mr. Bliznakov led R&D teams in both Engineering and Product Management organizations at PTC, an independent software vendor specializing in the areas of IoT, PLM, ALM, SLM and CAD software. In these roles, Plamen led the architecture design and implementation of the most broadly used application area of Windchill, PTC’s PLM system. He was also responsible for developing and implementing PTC’s strategic initiatives for and addressing the requirements of the automotive industry.
